Jennifer Lawrence and her baby boy were out on a stroll in the autumn, and she looked effortlessly cool. The Hunger Games actress wore a maroon knit sweater yesterday when she went out with her eight-month-old baby, Cy, in a stroller, channelling the season’s cosy colour scheme. She paired the shirt with a set of medium-wash, high-waisted denim. She chose a practical pair of slate grey flats, an olive green beanie, and Garrett Leight’s black oval sunglasses to complete the ensemble. She kept her golden hair in a protracted side braid while doing so.
Cy was born in February of this year, becoming the first child for Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney. The Oscar-winning actress discussed her changing perspective on motherhood in a recent interview.
“It’s so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it’s so different for everybody. If I say, It was amazing from the start, some people will think, It wasn’t amazing for me at first, and feel bad,” she said. “Fortunately I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away. So I felt so prepared to be forgiving.”
She also added, “The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, Now is day one of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love.”
That love wasn’t limited to Cy. She said, “I also fell in love with all babies worldwide.” Babies are simply amazing. These small survivors are pink, bloated, and frail. I now adore all infants.
